Eating healthily

Food holds strong emotional tags and the way we eat and behave around food reflects our culture and upbringing as well as our current state of mind. It can be hard to eat healthily when you are feeling depressed, guilty or anxious.

Hypno-psychotherapy recognises all of these factors and rather than focussing on weight loss targets or diet plans, takes a step back and allows you to examine the wider picture.

You will identify your automatic thoughts and behaviours when eating. You can examine the feelings and situations which trigger unhealthy eating and those which block you from eating healthily. Finally, using hypnosis to access the positive, supportive side of yourself, you will look into the future to embed new behaviours and to re-imagine yourself with a more relaxed and contented attitude towards food and how you eat.
